What is Blazernet
Blazernet is the online portal for faculty, staff, and students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). It provides access to a variety of resources, including secure file storage, applications such as Google Drive and Outlook, news and events information, and more.

To log in to Blazernet, users first need to visit the UAB login page. There they enter their username or the email address associated with their account followed by their password. Once logged in, users will have access to all of the available resources on Blazernet.
For added security, UAB has implemented multi-factor authentication. This means that after entering their username or email address and password they will be prompted to provide an additional form of authentication before they can access their account.
Typically this involves entering a code sent via text message or voice call. After entering this code correctly they will be able to log into Blazernet and gain full access to all of its features and functions.
The University also offers free training on how to use Blazernet for faculty, staff and students who are new or returning to UAB.
This training covers topics such as logging in securely using two-factor authentication; using various tools available on Blazernet; navigating through different settings; creating folders; adding new applications; setting up alerts; managing documents; backing up data; searching across different applications; fixing common problems and more.
Users can register for these sessions either online or via phone call – whichever option best suits them.
In addition to providing access to useful resources and helpful training opportunities, Blazernet also offers support should any technical difficulties arise while using it.
